At Apex Orthodontics, your smile is in the hands of someone who truly cares. Dr Gwengo believes that every smile has a story—and every patient has a voice. That’s why he takes the time to listen, understand, and tailor treatment to meet (and often exceed) each person’s goals.
With a genuine passion for orthodontics, Dr Gwengo is known for his warm approach and commitment to delivering exceptional care for children, teens, and adults alike. He finds it incredibly rewarding to witness the boost in confidence and joy that comes from a beautifully aligned smile.
Dr Gwengo’s journey began with five years of general dental training at the University of Otago in New Zealand, before completing a three-year specialist orthodontic program at the University of Queensland.
His advanced training and dedication to continuing education mean he offers the latest in orthodontic solutions—from early intervention and functional appliances to clear aligners like Invisalign and braces for all ages. He also has extensive experience managing more complex cases involving jaw surgery.
Outside of the clinic, Dr Gwengo enjoys spending time with his young family and keeping up with his beloved Arsenal FC (ever the optimistic fan).
