Over 20 Years of Dental Experience

Dr Gwengo’s extensive experience allows him to confidently manage everything from straightforward orthodontic concerns to complex bite problems requiring multidisciplinary care.

After completing his dental degree at the University of Otago in New Zealand, Dr Gwengo practised general dentistry before pursuing his passion for orthodontics. He then completed a three-year full-time specialist orthodontic training program at the University of Queensland, earning registration as a Specialist Orthodontist.

His background in both general dentistry and specialist orthodontics provides a comprehensive understanding of oral health, facial growth and bite development, allowing him to tailor treatment to each patient’s unique needs.

Committed to lifelong learning, Dr Gwengo regularly undertakes continuing professional education to ensure his patients benefit from the latest advances in orthodontics, including digital scanning, modern braces systems, customised treatment planning and Invisalign®.
